HHF has been operating in Haiti for more than four decades, and our leadership has been working to ensure HHF’s sustainability for decades to come. This includes responsible stewardship of our assets and protection against financial uncertainty.

Over the years, many generous donors have assigned their gifts towards this vision, including a number of bequests, which allowed HHF to intentionally save for the long-term sustainability of HHF’s services and programs.  These long-term reserves and other assets reflect responsible financial management of HHF by its leadership and reflect an organizational culture of long-term sustainability and leaders that plan conservatively and responsibly while responding to the needs of those we serve.

Consequently, we are now able to use dividends and interest from our investments to pay administrative and fundraising overhead, which means that 100% of your donation will go directly towards bringing life-sustaining services to those most in need.
