- The Haitian Health Foundation had a visit from Flea, the bass guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, in May 2007. Flea praises HHF in the program, saying, “HHF is bringing health care right to the people of rural Haiti. This is an incredible organization—they are running it with … a tiny little overhead. You know these people are saints that are doing this. This is a beautiful thing so I would just urge anyone, you know if they can help the HHF that they’d be doing a really great thing.” Click to here to see the video.
